Privacy Policy

Fold POS ("Fold POS", "we", "us") is a product of Fold Laundry LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you visit foldpos.com or use the Fold POS application at pos.foldpos.com, and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, phone number, business name and address when you sign up.
• Business data you enter — customers, orders, garments, photos and notes, prices, machines, supplies, employees and shifts. This data belongs to you; we process it only to run the service for you.
• Payment information — card payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
• Usage and device data — browser type, IP address, pages visited and actions in the app, collected through server logs and, where enabled, crash reporting. We do not sell this data and we do not run advertising on our site.

How we use it

To provide and secure the service, to send transactional messages (order receipts, one-time passcodes, reminders you configure), to support you, to improve the product, and to comply with law. We send marketing email only if you opt in, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Your customers' data

When you use Fold POS to send receipts, reminders or marketing to your customers, you are responsible for having the right to contact them. We act as your processor for that data and use it only on your instructions.

Sharing

We share data with service providers that host and run Fold POS (cloud hosting, email and SMS delivery, payment processing, maps), with delivery partners you connect yourself, and when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Ask us at contact@foldpos.com to export or delete it; we delete within 30 days except where we must keep records (for example, payment records) by law.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, and access inside our team is limited to what is needed to support you. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you.

Cookies

foldpos.com uses no tracking cookies. The application stores a sign-in token in your browser so you stay logged in.

Children

Fold POS is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
