Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you (the business signing up) and Fold Laundry LLC ("Fold POS", "we"). By creating an account or using Fold POS you agree to them.

The service

Fold POS is point-of-sale and operations software for laundromats, dry cleaners and alterations shops, delivered in the browser and as desktop and tablet apps. We may add, change or remove features; we will give notice of changes that materially reduce what you pay for.

Accounts

You must give accurate information, keep your password private, and are responsible for everything done under your account, including by your staff. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised use.

Plans, trials and billing

Plans are billed monthly in advance at the prices shown on foldpos.com, plus applicable taxes. Free trials convert to a paid plan only when you add a payment method and choose a plan. Every plan is month-to-month with no long-term contract; you can change or cancel at any time from Settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Card processing fees are charged by the payment processor per transaction. Hardware is sold separately under its own warranty terms.

Your data

You own the data you put into Fold POS. You grant us the right to host, process and back it up to run the service. You are responsible for having the right to store your customers' information and to message them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.

Acceptable use

Do not use Fold POS to break the law, to send spam, to attack or overload the service, or to reverse-engineer it. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and support

We work to keep Fold POS available around the clock but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Support is by email at contact@foldpos.com; priority support is included in the Pro plan.

Warranty and liability

Fold POS is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue or lost data beyond what our backups can restore.

Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may close accounts that breach these terms. After closure you can request an export of your data within 30 days, after which we may delete it.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. If a clause is unenforceable the rest still applies. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it. Questions: contact@foldpos.com.
